As part of my special Christmas celebration blogging, I will share with you some of my favorite dishes for this special occasion. And even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, some of the recipes I will be sharing can be made on different occasions, festive or not. I just hope that you will love them just as much as I enjoy them.
Christmas is probably the only time in the year where you shouldn’t feel guilty of gormandizing. After all it’s a time for celebration and joy with your family and friends. On Christmas, in my family, we have various family traditions, however over the last few years, since moving to North America, I have introduced some new culinary traditions to our Christmas gatherings.
Even though, over the last few years, my mother tends to favor lamb and roe deer meat in her Christmas menu, poultry was always featured on my family’s feast table during the holidays. Capon and turkey being the most favored poultry for holiday celebration in my mother’s kitchen, and now in mine.
As you could have noticed, I haven’t posted as many blog posts as I intended to do over the past two months. Because I started a new job with busy schedules, I didn’t have the time on my agenda to focus on my blog. But hopefully, with the holiday season coming up, I will be able to share with you some of my favorite recipes for the holidays.
