Happy New Year 2019!

It’s 2019 already! I want to wish everyone of you a prosperous and happy new year filled with joy, blessings and good health.

On a personal note, 2018 was a year of many challenges, reasons why I didn’t blog very much these past months. In fact, last may, I underwent a jaw surgery and, during the months that followed the surgery, I was still feeling the pain whenever I chewed or ate. But now I’m getting better and eat normally.

So in 2019, I won’t make big resolutions because from my past experiences I learned that making big resolution will leave you disappointed at the end of year if you weren’t able to fulfill your resolutions.

However, I will try to be a better blogger by posting as much posts as I can. I just need to manage my time more efficiently. Without trying to set myself up with big expectations but my goal will be to publish a new post, whether it’s a recipe or a review, at least once a week. Hopefully, I will be able to do better than in 2018 where I was mostly missing in action most of the time.

May 2019 be filled with happiness, prosperity, blessings, good health and more recipes to share and discover.

Happy New Year! 🎊🎉

Happy New Year!!

2016 has been an amazing year for me and I’m so grateful for what I had the privilege to experience over the last 12 months, from launching this blog to my writing aspirations. I have no resolution written down for 2017, but I have few projects I expect to get done. So my hope for 2017 is for this year to be filled with great opportunities and success for my family, my friends and myself.

Cardinal Tea room (Review)

Sorry for being away for so long but I was out of town for a couple days and when I returned home I didn’t really had the time to blog on anything because I had to take care of important things. Back to the topic du jour, last week I went to have tea time at one of the best tea rooms (in my humble opinion) in Montreal. I have heard of The Cardinal Tea room a couple years ago from friends and their reviews were mostly positive. So I added the place to my check list of the many food places to try in Montreal. And quite honestly it was a great experience. As a matter of fact, I put a big emphasis on the word experience.

L’Avenue Restaurant (Review)

Last week, I went out for brunch with a group of friends, and one had the brilliant idea to take us to L’Avenue Restaurant. To be honest with you, I had previously heard of the place while watching You Got To Eat Here on Food Network months ago, and I promised myself to go there and to give it a try. So I was particularly excited to finally get to eat at L’Avenue. The restaurant is basically a ‘must-stopped’ for anyone in search for a good place to have brunch.
